In the fall of 1986, James Fitzpatrick was appointed as Principal of Beloit Memorial High School. From 1986 to 1997, he built Purple Knight pride in all phases of school life at Beloit Memorial High. This scholarship is given to a student for all-around achievement. It is in his name that this scholarship is given.
